NewsBabyshambles album gets a US releaseBabyshambles have announced the US release date of their forthcoming sophomore album 'Shotter's Nation'. The follow-up to 2005's 'Down In Albion' will hit Stateside on October 23 via Astralwerks. As previously announced, Babyshambles are giving their comeback single away for free, exclusively with NME. 'Delivery' will appear on seven-inch vinyl and will only be available with the issue of NME that's out on September 11. Jill Scott album and UK dates Grammy Award-winning Philadelphia-born singer-songwriter Jill Scott releases her third album, 'The Real Thing: Words & Sounds Volume 3' on October 29, through Hidden Beach Records. Featuring production work by Scott Storch (DMX, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Ja Rule), Jill?s musical director Adam Blackstone (The Roots), Carvin 'Ransum' Haggins & Ivan 'Orthodox' Barias (Musiq Soulchild, Chris Brown, Mario) and JR Hutson among others, the 'The Real Thing' is edgier than Jill?s last album, 2004?s Grammy-winning 'Beautifully Human,' Words & Sounds, Vol. 2. And as if the music career isn?t enough, look out for Jill in two big movies: the forthcoming 'Why Did I Get Married' (US release Oct 12th), which co-stars Tyler Perry, Sharon Leal and Janet Jackson; and Anthony Minghella?s adaptation of classic novel 'The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency', co-starring Idris Elba and Anika Noni Rose, released next year.
